Carved more than 10,000 years ago by the Wisconsin Glacier, Niagara Falls has roared through the ages powered by waters from the Great Lakes channeled through the mighty Niagara River to a spectacular destination. The falls, which straddled the boundary of Canada and the USA, include three distinct sections: The American Falls between Prospect Point and Luna Island; the Bridal Veil Falls between Luna Island and Goat Island and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls between Goat island and Table Rock.
