This is why I love Katy Perry (click here to watch). The video shows her performing "The One That Got Away" on the results show of UK X Factor. You can see her musicality, which many people, including myself, have doubted in the past. She sings beautifully, with a hint of raspiness that gives the song warmth, and plays the guitar, exhibiting her musicianship. She does it all with retro-styled pink hair and a classic outfit, displaying her dedication to POP showmanship (or showWOMANship?). Plus, the fact that the song is absolutely gorg doesn't hurt matters. Take a listen to the single version that will be released to radio (by clicking here). It will be her sixth single off of her second album, Teenage Dream. If it goes to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, she'll become the first artist with six #1 Hot 100 singles on a single album, surpassing Michael's Jackson's five on Bad.
