Cinemassacre is a site dedicated to a few things, but mostly reviews of movies, old video games, and board games, but it's all done surprisingly well, by Mike Matei and James Rolfe, both under the names of 'Motherfucker Mike' and 'Angry Video Game Nerd'. They have a great chemistry that translates well to videos. Almost makes me wish I had friends. Almost.
Mike 'Motherfucker Mike' Matei usually does stuff just behind the scenes, like supporting James Rolfe's videos by making the opening cards, maybe appearing in a costume relevant to the video, and the such, but he occasionally has videos where he shows off his movie collection, or shows how to do game glitches in old games back in the day. There isn't really a problem with any of his videos, except that unless you're really into what he's talking about, a lot of his videos fall under the reaction of "huh, neat." Than anything else. That's not to say he's bad, because he seems like a cool dude, just I can't always find the most enjoyment out of the stuff he talks about, because while it doesn't go over my head, I just can't find myself relating to a lot of it.
James, on the other hand.. There are no words that can describe most of his videos. James Rolfe is the Angry Video Game Nerd, and he certainly has a talent at what he does. He basically reviews old video games from the 80s and 90s, and rips into them. It doesn't sound that great in concept, but you need to hear this guy. He has an incredible ability to suck you into what he's talking about, even if you're not familiar with the subject, or that into video games. He's just an entertaining person to hear and watch, with several websites dedicated to his very explicit quotes on video games. Some may see his way of doing things as a gimmick, but there lies so much truth behind so much anger.

While he's hilarious with all of that, and I do recommend checking that out on the site, the remaining three things he does.. Not so great.
First up is Board James, an obvious pun on 'board games', but with James' name randomly snuck in because he's clever, leading you to think "Shouldn't it be Board Ga- Oh, James, you clever little son of a whore!" So there's that. Honestly, he doesn't review this kind of stuff as the Angry Video Game Nerd, so it kinda sucks, because it relies a lot on the nostalgia factor alone, and it's basically just him and Motherfucker Mike playing board games for a while, and providing commentary, usually just consisting of stuff like "Oh damn!" and "This game is so confusing", so after a while, it's all just the same, but for some reason, they love to upload these videos. I guess they're easier to make than the game videos, but nowhere near as entertaining.A smaller note, his series (no picture available) 'You Know What's Bullshit?' is the second of his projects. He basically just talks about things that annoy him, and while I agree with him on several things, such as the plastic on DVD cases, there's just not too much there that'll make you realize "Hey, that IS some bullshit!" As much as there is "Yeah, I guess that's bullshit.."
Last up, no fancy schmancy picture for this one, is James' movie reviews. Honestly, these suck the most. Well, I shouldn't say 'suck' because he makes good points, but he just reviews them as himself, and it's kind of boring, honestly. Sure, he'll point out things you never noticed about movies, whether it's small details, or things he found stupid, but it's just not entertaining for me because with a lot of the movies he reviews, I just don't care for them that much to hear his opinion on them.
Final verdict: The site is great, at least with the AVGN videos. The rest is hit-or-miss, but AVGN keeps everyone coming back for laughs, whether it be clever remarks, or just James getting mad and cursing in anger.
