What is it about those Scandinavians??
Indie pop band Little Majorette hails from Sweden. These three Swedes - Zoe Durrant, Petter Winnberg and Nils Tornqvist - are making blissful, melodic music very worthy of the airwaves. Their best song is the sensational "Never Be the Same," the music video for which is also stunning. Much like the music of James Blake, the video plays with space and sound. When we watch it, we are transported into a world where light is the absence of darkness & sound is the absence of silence. Who would have thought that an abandoned theatre would house a hauntingly brilliant music video? (watch it here)
This group is on our radar. We are very impressed, especially with Zoe's beautiful singing. Keep 'em coming, Sweden!
