R.I.P. Adam MCA Yauch

Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, the founder and rapper, bassist, keyboards player, songwriter of the legendary trio the Beastie Boys reportedly died on Friday (4/5) yesterday at the age of 47 years.

Until now the leading cause of death is unknown but suspected MCA as lymphoma had suffered since 2009.

"It is with great sadness that we preach musician, rapper, activist and director Adam 'MCA' Yauch, the Beastie Boys and the founder of the Milarepa Foundation is a charity concert and the Tibetan Freedom Concerts and the film distribution company Oscilloscope Laboratories, has died at his residence in New York City this morning after a nearly three-year battle against cancer, "wrote an official statement from the Beastie Boys.

Yauch who practice Buddhism is survived by his wife who came from Tibet, Dechen Wangdu and a 14-year-old daughter, Tenzin Losel.

Beastie Boys MCA formed in 1979 with Mike "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz who plays hardcore punk music shortly after he witnessed the Black Flag concert. Enter their early 80s decade later began experimenting with hip-hop music that postscript was still dominated by blacks.

In 1986 the Beastie Boys released their debut album titled Licensed to Ill was produced by Rick Rubin (who also briefly served as the DJ trio) under Def Jam Recordings record label formed by Rubin with Russell Simmons.
The album was later made history as the best-selling hip-hop album and the first successful sit in the first position of Billboard.

Any other album from the Beastie Boys, among others, Paul's Boutique (1989), Check Your Head (1992), Ill Communication (1994), Hello Nasty (1998), To The 5 Boroughs (2004), The Mix-Up (2007) and Last Hot Sauce Committee Part Two (2011). On his journey and the Beastie Boys have sold more than 40 million copies of their albums worldwide.

Beastie Boys also recently been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, USA along with Guns N 'Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers to the Small Faces / Faces. MCA was unable to attend because it is still in pain treatment and then just send a letter read out by both his partner, Mike D and Ad-Rock.

MCA's death brings sorrow, it is also very deep, not only for artists from hip-hop world strongholds such as Eminem, Nas, Chuck D (Public Enemy), to LL Cool J.

The world of rock and metal musicians were also expressed their deep condolences on the death of Adam Yauch is expressed via their Twitter accounts.
